How to Remove Your Vauxhall Wipers in Service Mode

Applies to: Corsa (F 2019+), Astra (L 2022+), Mokka (2021+), Grandland (2022+), Crossland

On many Vauxhall models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate Vauxhall Wiper Service Mode

  1. Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode using the wiper stalk.
  2. Turn your car off.
  3. Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift to a vertical service position.
  4. You can now change the blades.
  5. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

The Vauxhall Mokka from 2021 features a distinctive interior with a panoramic display screen but the wiper stalk remains on the steering column and the service mode sequence is the same as across the rest of the modern Vauxhall range.

Make Sure the Blades Fit

Wiper sizes and fittings can change between versions of the same model. Enter your registration and we'll match your car with the correct front and rear blades.

We’ll also send the fitting video and any service-mode steps your car needs. Open the box and you’re ready to go.
