How to Remove Your Seat and Cupra Wipers - Service Mode
Share
Applies to: SEAT: Ibiza, Leon, Arona, Ateca, Tarraco | CUPRA: Formentor, Born, Ateca
On many Seat and Cupra models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Seat and Cupra Wiper Service Mode
- Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode using the wiper stalk. This is important, if the rain sensor is active it can interfere with the sequence.
- Turn your car off.
- Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift from beneath the bonnet to a vertical service position.
- You can now change the blades.
- To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.
Just one quick check
Seat, Cupra, Volkswagen, Skoda and Audi use the same sequence on many current models. It also applies to the Cupra Born.
