How to Remove Your Porsche Wipers - Service Mode
Share
Applies to: Cayenne (2018+), Macan (2014+, 2024+ electric), Taycan (2019+), Panamera (2016+), 911 (992 2019+)
On many Porsche models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Porsche Wiper Service Mode
- Turn your car on, then turn it off.
- Push the wiper stalk UP and hold until the wipers move to a vertical service position. This usually takes 3 to 5 seconds.
- You can now change the blades.
- To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and push the stalk DOWN once.
Just one quick check
The Macan, Cayenne and Taycan may use the stalk-up sequence above. On a 911 (992), the wipers normally lift directly from the glass.
Make Sure the Blades Fit
