How to Remove Your MINI Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: MINI Hatch (F56 2014+, J01 2024+), MINI Clubman (F54), MINI Countryman (F60, U25 2024+), MINI Convertible (F57)

On many MINI models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate MINI Wiper Service Mode

1. Turn your car on, then immediately turn it off.
   
2. Push the wiper stalk UP and hold it in position. The wipers will lift from beneath the bonnet to a vertical service position. This usually takes 3 to 5 seconds.
   
3. You can now change the blades.
   
4. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and push the stalk DOWN once.
