How to Remove Your Ford Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: Focus (2018+), Fiesta (2017+), Puma (2019+), Kuga (2020+), Mustang Mach-E
On many Ford models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Ford Wiper Service Mode
- Hold the wiper stalk DOWN (towards the floor) with one hand.
- While holding the stalk down, turn the ignition off with your other hand.
- Keep holding the stalk until the wipers reach a position where you can access the blades comfortably, then release.
- You can now change the blades.
- To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.
Just one quick check
The Ford sequence works best when you turn the ignition off cleanly rather than holding the key in a middle position. Push and release the start/stop button or turn the key fully to off while maintaining continuous pressure on the wiper stalk.
Make Sure the Blades Fit
Wiper sizes and fittings can change between versions of the same model. Enter your registration and we'll match your car with the correct front and rear blades.
We’ll also send the fitting video and any service-mode steps your car needs. Open the box and you’re ready to go.
