How to Remove Your Abarth Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: Abarth 500 (2008+), Abarth 500e (2023+), Abarth 600e (2024+)

Need to reach the wipers on your Abarth? Some models use service mode. Others let you lift the wiper arms straight from the windscreen. Use the steps below for the models listed here.

How to Access Your Abarth Wiper Blades

  1. Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode if fitted.
  2. Turn your car off.
  3. Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift to a service position.
  4. You can now change the blades.
  5. To return: turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

The original Abarth 500 (2008-2019) based on the Fiat 500 first generation typically has wipers that rest on the glass and can be lifted directly without a service mode sequence. The new Abarth 500e from 2023 uses the sequence above. If your Abarth's wipers are visible on the glass simply lift the wiper arm directly.

Make Sure the Blades Fit
