How to Remove Your Peugeot Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: 208 (2019+), 308 (2021+), 2008 (2020+), 3008 (2017+), 5008 (2017+)

On many Peugeot models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate Peugeot Wiper Service Mode

1. 1. Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode using the wiper stalk.
   2. Turn your car off.
   3. Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift from beneath the bonnet to a vertical service position.
   4. You can now change the blades.
   5. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

As with Citroën models the 3-second hold timing matters. Hold the stalk firmly for a full 3 seconds — releasing too early will not trigger the sequence. You should see the wipers begin to move before you release.
