On many Audi models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Audi Wiper Service Mode
- Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode using the wiper stalk on your steering column.
- Turn your car off.
- Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds. You will see the wipers lift away from the glass into a vertical service position.
- You can now change the blades.
- To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once using the stalk.
Just one quick check
If your Audi has a rain sensor set to automatic, make sure this is switched to manual before starting — otherwise the wipers may activate unexpectedly during the sequence.
Make Sure the Blades Fit
