How to Remove Renault Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: Clio (2019+), Captur (2020+), Megane (2016+), Kadjar, Zoe, Arkana
On many Renault models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Renault Wiper Service Mode
- Turn your car off.
- Within 10 seconds, pull the wiper stalk towards you and hold it for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift to a vertical service position.
- You can now change the blades.
- To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.
Just one quick check
The 10-second window on Renault models is shorter than most other manufacturers. Turn the car off, count to five maximum, and then initiate the stalk pull. Do not pause to check the manual or look at your phone — initiate the sequence promptly.
Make Sure the Blades Fit
